METALS
STEEL
Steel comes in a variety of different looks. Most of the looks have to do with coatings that you apply to the metal.

Mild Steel
Mild steel is nothing fancy. It is untreated against rusting and is great for welding, car repairs, or even decoration.

Tread Plate
Tread plate is mild steel with a diamond pattern on the top that gives it some traction. It is untreated against rusting and most commonly used on the back of trailers or as a ramp.

Galvanized
Galvanized is a sheet of mild steel that is coated with zinc to make it rust resistant. It is mainly used for duct work.

Galvanneal
Galvanneal is a primed sheet of mild steel. This ready to paint metal takes all the hard work out of having to get your metal ready for paint.
STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless steel is an alloy, meaning it's made up of many different kinds of metals. Our stainless is a grade 304, which is a food grade. It is non-magnetic and won't rust. We offer stainless in a couple of different finishes.

2B Finish
The 2B finish is not polished, and doesn't come with a protective covering that wards against scratches. This is most often used in outdoor applications such as chimney caps.

#4 Finish
The #4 finish, or polished stainless, has a grain to it. It comes with a removable protective covering on one side that wards against scratches. It is most commonly used for backspashes or countertops.

#8 Finish
The #8 finish, is a chrome or mirror finish. It comes with a removable protective covering that wards against scratches.
SPECIALITY METALS
We offer a variety of specialty metals such as copper, tin, brass, and lead.

Copper
Copper is a rather soft metal that is most commonly used for aesthetics. It can be used as a countertop, range hood, table top, chimney cap and so much more.

Lead
Lead is a dense, malleable metal that is most commonly used for decoration and as protection from radiation.

Tin
Tin is an antiquated metal most commonly used for rustic crafts such as tin punching.

Brass
Brass is a decorative metal most commonly used as door kick plates.
ALUMINUM
Aluminum comes in different levels of hardness called grades. We mostly keep 3003, but a small selection of 5052, both being softer grades. Our aluminum is good for bending and fabricating as it won't crack when you try to form it. We also offer a variety of colors.

Mill
Mill aluminum has no special finish. It does not come with a protective paper that wards against scratches. All of the mill aluminum is grade 3003.

Diamond
Aluminum diamond plate has a diamond pattern on the top that gives it some traction. It is mostly used when creating ramps or the floors of trailers.

Anodized
Anodized aluminum has a baked on weather resistant finish, that is offered in a few different colors. Due to the anodizing process it is grade 5052.

Embossed
Embossed aluminum is a regular mill finish aluminum that is pressed between two rollers that give it a textured finish.

Painted
We offer a wide variety of colors. The sheets come with a protective paper that wards against scratches. These sheets are grade 3003.

Fly Screen
Aluminum fly screen is a fine mesh meant to keep out insects.
PERFORATED
Perforated metal is mild steel that has been stamped with a pattern.

Cloverleaf
Cloverleaf is a mild steel that has a clover pattern stamped out. It is mainly used for decoration specifically in radiator covers and screen doors.

Octagon Cane
Octagon Cane is a mild steel that has a decorative pattern stamped out. It is mainly used for decoration specifically in radiator covers and screen doors.

Windsor
Windsor is a mild steel that has a decorative pattern stamped out. It is mainly used for decoration specifically in radiator covers and screen doors.

Round
We offer round hole perforated in different thicknesses, hole sizes, and staggers. It comes in mild steel, or a grade 304 stainless steel.

Grecian
Grecian is a mild steel that has a triangular pattern stamped out. It is mainly used for decoration specifically in radiator covers and screen doors.
FLATTENED EXPANDED
Flattened expanded is made of steel and is metal that has been sliced and stretched, which creates a diamond hole in the material. We offer this in mild steel and stainless steel.

16 ga. x 1/2"
16ga. x 1/2" flattened expanded is a 16 gauge metal with the widest part of the diamond 1/2". We offer this in mild steel and stainless steel.

16 ga. x 3/4"
16 ga. x 3/4" flattened expanded is a 16 gauge metal with the widest part of the diamond 3/4". It is commonly used as a bird screen in chimney caps. We offer this in stainless steel.

9 ga. x 3/4"
9 ga. x 3/4" flattened expanded is a 9 gauge metal with the widest part of the diamond 3/4". It is commonly used as a fire pit cover or as a window guard. We offer this in mild steel.
HARDWARE CLOTH
Hardware cloth consists of wire that is woven together and welded at the intersection points.

2 x 2
2 x 2 hardware cloth is wire that's welded together and forms a 1/2" x 1/2" opening. It is most commonly used as a bird screen.

4 x 4
4 x 4 hardware cloth is wire that's welded together and forms a 1/4" x 1/4" opening. It is most commonly used as a bird screen.
